4 Wheel Disc Brakes

These pictures are not mine, when I convert my "new" Panda chassis for the 1242cc turbo I'll make a write up for it.

Note: This write up can be used for Panda/Y10/Uno/Cinq/Sei/Punto (make sure the offset is correct before doing it) Parts will differ when used for other cars, this was written for Cinqs.

This will provide 257mm front discs and 240mm rear discs.

Required Items

  • Lancia Delta HPE front calipers (257-20-40)
  • Lancia Delta HPE front discs
  • Fiat Tempra 1.9TD with abs rear calipers (240-10-40)
  • Fiat Punto GT handbrake cable set
  • Custom made rear caliper supports (The ones shown were made by Seicento Inc, info in unknown)

The front installation is bolt on since the discs and calipers go in place of the originals and all holes line up perfectly including the offsets.

This is the stock 186mm drum brakes.

Remove the drum brake assembly, you may want to save it in case something goes wrong.

Remove the original wheel hub.

Install the caliper supports.

Install new wheel hubs.

Install the discs.

Connect the brake lines, insert pads and bleed the system.

Install the new handbrake cables.

Tie the handbrake cable along the original location.

This is the finished result.
